Hire young people while they still know everything.
I found this on the internet:
A mind is like a parachute, it works best when it's open.
And added my own input:
A mind is like a parachute
It works best when it is packed properly
Only then will it open.
A reprise from someone who read the above quote:
If a person opens their mind too much, their brains will fall out!
You can find many great and humorous quotes made by famous people at the Dr. Gabriel Robins site.
The Forest
As the leaves turn bright orange and red
They begin to fall to the forest floor, dead
Soon to be covered with a layer of snow
Giving the forests a wondrous glow
Creatures underground and in the trees above
Do they know the meaning of love?
As they nest for a hard winter's due
Are they certain spring will renew
Or do they wonder what fate tomorrow will hold
As they wait patiently throughout the cold
Then when the earth returns to life in the spring
Is it about the love of life that the birds do sing?

Something I wrote a long time ago.
When the shores of the earth become one
And the sun no longer shines for man
The angel will have fallen to the earth
Dissolving into dust to form a new land
And its spirit will have risen
To light the heavens once again
Then they would say, it is done

These words and some really great lyrics can be found on a couple of Gabriel Bondage albums. If you can still find them. "Another Trip To Earth" & "Fallen Angel"
I remember a time when I was having somewhat of a discussion (argument) with my 15 year old son about his below average grades and his excessive time spent on his computer, I asked him what he was learning from his time on the computer and he blurted out “ I know a lot about things I don’t know!”... It would be nice if he were to take a break from his computer now and then. Then maybe he might discover first hand the things he thought he knew so much about!
Friends
Friends may come and friends may go.
The best of them are the ones you still know.
Though some may be gone, they will never part.
You keep them close within your heart.
And the friends who still call, chat or write.
Just to say hi and see if you're all right.
These are the friends you must hold on to.
Through thick and thin they'll see you through.
And because you’re a good friend to them as well.
Where upon hard times they shall not dwell.
When they need someone to listen, they can count on you.
Because sometimes all it takes is a patient ear to help a friend through.
